  7. Thank you for downloading the SONIC the Hedgehog CD<TM> Preview.

  9. This preview is Windows95 native. To play it, you need DirectX 
  10. installed on your hard-drive.

  12. Before you install this preview, please take the time to read 
  13. through this document.

  21. 1) Installing DirectX:

  23. This preview does not contain DirectX.  We did not include it
  24. because we wanted to keep the preview small enough to download
  25. from the Internet.  Before you install this Preview, you must 
  26. have a current version of DirectX installed on your hard-drive.
  27.  
  28. You can get the most current version of DirectX from the Microsoft 
  29. Homepage or from us at Sega.  Please find the addresses below.

  40. 2) Installing the SONIC the Hedgehog CD Preview

  42. After you unzip sample verson, find the "scdsetup" 
  43. folder. Within this folder, please find the 
  44. "setup.exe" file.
  45.  
  46. After you click "setup.exe", the installation 
  47. process will begin. Please follow the install
  48. prompt instructions.
  49.  
  50. After the installation is complete, press the 
  51. "PLAY" button if Autorun is available, or click 
  52. the SONIC the Hedgehog CD icon if not.

  54. 3) Controls:

  56. You are SONIC. SONIC the Hedgehog, the most famous
  57. and the fastest hedgehog in the world!
  58. Dr. Robotnik, an evil but gifted mad scientist plans a
  59. trick on "the little planet" and he is searching the 
  60. "time stones," which are the source of ultimate power!
  61. Someone must stop him!  But who?  
  62. Yes, SONIC, it's you. Time for Sonic Boom!

  64. After the title screen appears, press space bar to start.

  66. Move SONIC --->  Arrow key
  67. Jump attack---> Space bar (SONIC can attack enemy with jump.)
